Hire - CUJO is a versatile ensemble that has years of experience catering for many different types of musical event. Whether you require a centrepiece for an all-singing all-dancing summer ball, or a subtle undercurrent of background music, CUJO is up to the task. Rates are negotiable and depend upon the size of the ensemble, length and location of the concert. We can also supply smaller jazz groups to play for private functions and events. Please don't hesitate to get in touch with Misha or Dave with your enquiry!
Mailing List - CUJO has a regular mailing list which we use to send out infrequent reminders about gigs, upcoming events and information about jazz in Cambridge and the surrounding area. If you would like to be added to the list, just email Misha and ask to be added.
Auditions for places in CUJO take place at the start of Michaelmas term (beginning of October) each year. We are always at the CUSU societies' fair, or you can contact us to arrange an audition. Auditions are fairly informal - you'll be asked to sight-read some music, improvise on a jazz standard if you are able and play a pre-prepared piece if you have one. The entire band re-auditions every year, so every place in the band is decided by the audition process.
